Northwest School of Women’s Minsitry – Next Class is September 27

The Northwest School of Women’s Ministries exists to motivate, equip, and empower women to make a Christ-honoring difference in the world through their ministries to women. The extensive and intensive two-year program taught on six Saturdays leads to certification as a women’s ministries specialist. Students learn from seminary professors and other experts.

  • how God has used women through the centuries to build the Kingdom
  • the qualities and qualifications for leadership
  • how to assess strengths and weaknesses in women’s ministries
  • a process for discovering and meeting women’s needs in Jesus’ name
  • ways to share truth with unchurched and dechurched women
  • the importance of calling and giftedness in building a volunteer ministry
  • an overview of basic evangelical doctrine
  • skill-building methods in public speaking and Bible teaching and more

Unlike auditing students, those pursuing certification enhance their learning through significant homework assignments, and each completes an internship in women’s ministries in her church. Students from non-ConvergeNW churches are welcome.
